David De Luca

Senior Managing Director, Head of Global Equities

David is Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Equities in the firm’s Equity Capital Markets group.  In this role David is responsible for overseeing equity sales, trading and research globally.  

David joined Raymond James in 2018.  He has over two decades of experience in senior roles in the equities divisions of Wall Street firms, including Morgan Stanley, where he was a Managing Director and head of U.S. institutional equity sales in NY and other regions and simultaneously ran several other desks in almost seven years at the firm.  David was Co-Head of NY equity sales at Lehman Brothers (Barclays Capital), where he served as a Managing Director for over a decade.  David began his Wall Street career at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Vice President in institution equity sales.

David earned his BA from Brown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  He holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a JD from Columbia Law School.

David is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Head of the Investment Committee at the Winterthur Museum in Wilmington, DE, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum in New York City.  He also serves on the Board of the Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy in CT, which has protected over 20,000 acres of land.  In 2011 he was named Alumnus of the Year for the St. David’s School in New York.  He has been active in diversity issues on Wall Street for over 20 years.
