Empowering the Next Generation of Business Leaders
Welcome to the NYBLACKMBA Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program, formerly known as CASH. We extend warm greetings to all the students and mentors and parents who will join us this year. We also extend an open invitation to all school administrators, community and corporate partners to visit our wonderful program.
What Is LOT?
The NYBLACKMBA Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) mentoring program—hosted by The Metro New York Chapter of the National Black MBA Association—is a 9‑month initiative that combines virtual workshops, in‑person sessions, and experiential events to support high school students in developing leadership, academic, and professional skills.
Hosted at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business in Lincoln Center, New York City, the Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program combines hands-on training with personal mentoring, focusing on four core pillars:
- Leadership & Personal Development
- Financial Literacy & Economic Empowerment
- College Readiness & Academic Success
- Career Exploration & Professional Skills
Our goal: to help participants gain admission to top colleges, build confidence, and become well-prepared for future careers.
WHY JOIN LOT?
- Continuous Development: Students participate in monthly workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking events to link classroom learning with real-world applications.
- Professional Growth: From resume-building to interview skills and personal branding, LOT equips students with tools and exposure to help them thrive in academic and work environments.
- National Leadership Summit: At the conclusion of the program year, LOT students attend a 4‑day summit featuring campus tours, leadership tracks, case competitions, keynote speakers, and a closing “Blue Blazer” ceremony.
- Case Competition & Scholarships: Students compete in a national business case challenge for prize awards. Top performers may also receive scholarships based on merit, leadership, and community involvement.
