ENTREPRENEUR ACCELERATOR SUMMIT (EAS)

Since 2019, the annual “Entrepreneur Accelerator Summit” (EAS) has been dedicated to supporting minority and women-owned businesses, along with aspiring entrepreneurs, in thriving within emerging industries. Through a series of workshops, the summit aims to facilitate the acceleration of their business goals. The NYBLACKMBA Entrepreneur & Economic Development Initiative Group, in collaboration with bccelerator, Inc. 

The 2024 EAS will focus on the following tracks: Supplier Diversity, Government Contracting and Doing Business Abroad.

    • Government Contracting Basics: An overview of the government contracting process, regulations, and opportunities
    • Navigating Government Procurement Portals: Guidance on using online portals to find and bid on government contracts
    • Contract Compliance and Regulations: Understanding compliance requirements and regulations when working with government agencies
    • Marketing Your Business to Government Agencies: Strategies for effectively marketing your business to government buyers
    • Subcontracting Opportunities: Exploring subcontracting opportunities within larger government contracts and prime contractor relationships
